OneersonIbelievethatsharesmylawoflifeisMarkMcGwire。Hedidntgetcaughtuinthehome-runchaseinthe1998season，butinsteadlayedeverygameinthebestwayhecould。And，mostofthetime，heheledhisteam。Hedidntjustgooutthereandhithomerunsbecausehewantedtobeaheadintheend，butbecausehewantedtomakeitagoodseasonforhisteammatesandhim。

生活中有“人生法則”做基礎是極其重要的，給我帶來極大影響的一條“人生法則”就是：成功是過程，不是終點。它意味着重要的不是你最終到達哪裏，而是你在這一旅程中努力做了些什麼；意味着不管你做了什麼，只要努力了，就一定不會失敗；還意味着你能從錯誤中吸取經驗教訓，以便更好地繼續下一段旅程。
我相信一定會有一個人同意我的“人生法則”，那就是馬克·麥戈維爾。在1998年的賽季中，他雖然沒有打完全場，但每一場球賽他都竭盡全力了，並且大多數時間他都在幫助隊友們。他並非一心爲了取勝纔去參加比賽，只是因爲他希望這個賽季能夠成爲自己和隊友們的一個好的賽季。
